I hope I'm not out of line for this post . . . if so, Saeed, please feel free to delete it.

Ebay has an Arican safari offered that is described as:

Hunt in South Africa with Alan Boyes Safaris to Africa. One person, 8 days, and 11 animals for 2005. He said that he bought the hunt but can't go and right now the bid is $1500 with about 1 1/2 days left.

With it including trophy fees for 11 animals it could be a steal for someone.

It's item number: 7116247860 and I am not associated with it in any way.

Have a great day!

JDS

How is it he is selling a safari with paid-up trophy fees, which is not the case 99.9999999999999% of the time? Better be careful bidding on this unless you talk to the PH/outfitter and the seller.

It looks like a fairly common package hunt in the Eastern Cape. It only list seven of the "11" trophies but even at that it could be a great deal for someone.

jds,

You are welcome to post anything which you think might be of interest to members of this forum.

I have heard far too many horror stories about donated hunts, both that are conducted in Africa and Europe.

I suppose there is always a chance that one gets a good hunt, just as much as getting ito some nightmare of a hunt.
