bcolyerNot enough Larry Shores Threads Yet.....SO, how about LS VIDEOS vs. MS VIDEOS?
Presently, for me....Larry is about the only interesting thread(s) going here. So, I think we need to dig deeper.
Larry truly is my friend, and has been a blessing to my family's life. I have every one of his videos (completely complimentary), and have watched them more than once! And may I say 'Thank You', again........BUT
In all those videos of Larry's, NOT ONCE did he allow, or even pause or give consideration to that poor creature he was about to descend upon, to CHOOSE how he wanted to die! He treated Dangerous game like it was Dangerous! What kind of attitude is that??? SO.....BAM!!!! He just up and shoots them....dead with the first shot in most cases. And, if somehow the animal is not completely dead, he instantly shoots it again! He leaves NO room for video commentary. No dramatics other than a good hunt. NO soul searching on the part of the animal. NO opportunity for his PH to stop a charge. etc. etc. What kind of video is that?
SO.....what say ye? LS....vs. ....MS
+1 for the LS video for me!!
Hats.....videos.....I think we have a cottage industry going here. Larry, is it alright if I start it in my garage......according to TV a lot of heavy stuff has started in the garage!

In retrospect, I am sure I told Jeff about excessive ball scratching. I must have forgot about the nose picking. LOL

Bwana338Many areas make up a good to great Hunting Safari DVD.
1. Hunter
2. Game animals
a. Lion
b. Leopard
c. Elephant
d. Cape Buffalo
e. Hippo
f. Crocodile
g. Plains Game
3. Story Format
4. Picture Quality
a. In Focus
b. Sound
c. Color
5. Presented so as to be Interesting.
I compare different Safari DVD against each other for Picture Quality and Sound. With out these two you have nothing.
We currently have members talking about picture color being brilliant. However you do not hear about picture quality (being in focus) and sound. I have learned that auto focus is not your friend at times as it continues to search for a place to focus on while filming. There are many factors that play into a quality DVD.
I currently have a 33 inch monitor for my computer, that i use and i am able to watch for quality picture color and sharpness, plus it is easy to see if the subject at hand is in focus.
So my vote goes to Saeed and his 2013 DVD as being the best hand down over these two up starts.

Yea! What's the big idea.
We here on AR are way too polite to hi-jack a thread.

They're mine. I can scratch them anytime I want!

Actually, with the bird numbers Gilchrist has, who has time enough to scratch anything?
What a fabulous place.

Bill CHey, I just realized that Larry Sellers and Larry Shores are two different people!!!
Just kidding of course. Whatever it is you are doing Larry keep up the good work, you obviously are having a positive impact on a lot of people. And in the end, isn't that what its all really about.
Is it too soon to suggest a new "Larry Shores" forum?
