Couple more days and me and CChunter will head off to Namibia this will be my first visit as well as his. We will be hunting with KarlS, (Karl Stumpf) for all sort of plainsgame or shall I say whatever looks good and the itchy finger of the viking starts to work. So on Wendesday I will drink a windhoek beer in Windhoek that as always been one of my dreams. We will be covering quite a bit of Namibia as we have enough time. The Karas mountains, Kalahari and then the area south east of Windhoek to end it all. Quite a diverse trip and should make for some spectacular views and sights and then hopefully a good bag of trophies as well. CChunter wil be using is new Mauser with an 8x68S Barrel and 185gr Rhinos running at around 3000fps. He is busy packing at the moment and flying tomorow morning whereupon I will pick him up around 9pm. We will be spending a bit of time in Free State as well for a bit of hunting just to warm up before we head out to Namibia on the 1st. I doubt that we will be able to update on the hunting progress but if we should get the chance we will try to as usual. Cannot wait and I'm very exited Frederik Cocquyt I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Good on you !!! Make sure that you have a beer and a steak at Joe's Beer House !!! That is one of the funkiest places that I have ever been to. My wife and I fly out - Ha! on Sunday evening for Namibia ourselves !!! We are going to be spending a few days with Helgaard van der Vyver and his family - doing a bit of fishing on the coast .. and then back to the area just south of Kamanjab .. (Christie's Adventures) My last two times in Namibia I spent 6 weeks each time ... what a magical place. I've got a bet with L. David Keith on who whacks the biggest warthog (also another bet with Chris Lowe of Australia).. David has already smucked a couple of dandies so I might be in big trouble on that bet. Chris will be there the same time I am but am taking some smoked salmon just in case I lose to that fine man. With all the troubles happening daily it seems in Tanzania and Zimbabwe ... you gotta (and I am sure that you will ) love Namibia !!! Good luck and since it won't cost me any money I hope that you shoot a huge wartie ...

scruffy, Wartie is not so much on my list as I have huge warties on my concessions. What is top of my list is Red Hartebeest. Maybe I will whack more animals but I cannot really take over from CChunter Lorenzo, Yes it has been a while the world cup is around the corner maybe the boks will play Argentina again. Otherwise doing great and you still hunting well in Uruguay ? Frederik Cocquyt I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.
