That snake is dead as free lunch boys ! A python is a powerhouse, look at how limp the body was when they were pulling it out-and how flat. Those well tanned fellows were paid by some Frenchman trying to pull a fast one. I KNOW Africans, and the chance of finding one willing to stick his leg in a snake hole, nevermind being ingested by the bloody thing has about the same chance as Obama shaking hands with a Saudi king. Not going to happen.
Nice Try
Dave

The same way a snake moves after you bashed its head in.

There is no way in hell they could a python out of a hole like that unless it wanted to get out.

Dave I think you are correct. Africans seem to have a total fear of snakes. In addition, it did seem "flat".

and i guess the random movement after it's head was cut off was trick photography.

as far as it being flat, when a large constrictor has not eaten in 4-6 months(and they can go up to a year without food), that is exactly how it looks. when i don't feed my pythons a rabbit at least every 2 months, they lose a lot of body mass and look just like that. don't jump to conclusions with a basic knowledge of large constrictor biology.

Sorry boys, but you do not need a degree in constrictor biology, but I have been around quite a few, seen some messed with and observed their reactions. It ain't like the video! I saw Shockey and a team of diggers chop one out of a hole in Cameroon a couple of weeks ago on the tube and it was a rodeo and a half !
If I had a snake for a pet and it reacted like that I would consider a preacher and a plot at the pet cemetary..
