Anyone tried this line of clothes? Looks good and I'm generally impressed with Cabelas quality. How does sizing run, large or small?

I'm sure the clothing line is good, but having been to africa... I always advise hunters from here to buy thier clothing in Africa.

1) it's a lot cheaper, i.e.: try $5 for hunting shirt or shorts vs $25-35 here.
2) most of the soaps they use on your clothes in camp are usually home-made and pretty harsh/can ruin your clothes.
3) I usually leave my clothes with the trackers.
4) It's less to pack - both ways.

That's assuming time permits a quick shopping trip. If not, let your PH know some time in advance, and he can pick up your clothes on one of his trips into town before hand.

Either way, it's a good model.

I agree with "New Guy". My first trip, I looked like an advertisement for Cabelas. My last trip, I bought clothes in J-berg and took old stuff from home. The PH's looked like vagabonds to me. No camo, just plain dark green or brown clothes. Spend your $ on boots and practice ammo.

I got their hunting jacket as a Christmas present, and it served me well in Namibia. Especially when a cold front came through last Wednesday. I really liked having the shell carriers attatched to the pockets. It'll show up in the pics I will post very soon.

Its all fun and games, but I prefer a pair of Wranglers and a Dickies long sleeve khaki shirt, (no dark green) for Tanzania...I like a ball cap and Tennis shoes along with a pair of hiking boots like Roper horseshoes with some 6" unlined gators...Not into the felt hat with upturned brim and a Leopard skin band gang unless its a 30X Stetson sans the Leopard skin, then I might come around.... thumb

Tetsis like dark colors and thin materal is my take on the situation...
