One of my clients has decided to cancel his Leopard hunt booked with Vaughan Fulton's Classic Safaris. This is one of the Leopard hunts done on the conservancy located by Etosha. This is the only Leopard hunt available until 2009 on the conservancy. The last 2008 Leopard hunt on the conservancy sold last week. If you are interested in hunting on the communal conservancy by Etosha with Vaughan's ph Gert (I believe a reincarnated Leopard himself), the dates available are in the last half of May. Since it is the quota that is available, we can also work with different dates in 2007. The price is $8750 which includes the trophy fee on the Leopard, VAT tax, transportation from Windhoek to camp and return. Plainsgame can be hunted for the trophy fees.

Do they refund the trophy fee if spots not taken?

Yes, sorry a bit of a vaugue post. $2000 refunded if a Leopard is not killed or wounded. Over the past two years with 6 clients doing baited hunts with Gert they have killed 3 Leopard. My math makes that 50%. This does not include Leopard shot while hunting with hounds, which is another option that you can take. The price for the hound hunt is $12,500. (Leopard trophy fee included, $2000 refunded if no Leopard shot or wounded.) Success on the hound hunt is very high.
