Large little guys from Mozambique

BahatiLarge little guys from Mozambique
Hunter Bill McClure had his dream come true when he bagged really good Suni and Blue Duiker with Bahati a few weeks ago in Mozambique after these little antelope had eluded him for many years and many hunts!
For you guys (like Mark) that appreciate the little'uns, enjoy ...
This is a serious Suni - pictured with Marius (PH), Coert (PH and self-appointed alpha male of the Bahati camp) with a very satisfied and happy Bill.
Bills Blue Duiker.

Die Ou JagterMy God what a Suni. Is that the normal coloration of Blue Duiker in Moz? I don't want to forget that is also a very nice BD.

yukon deltaVery nice and thanks for posting. I have to admit that reading about these hunts and the Tiny Ten, etc. is very interesting. It would not be good to have the collector bug hit you for these guys.

Die Ou Jagter
That is pretty standard colour for an adult animal. Here is another super Blue Duiker hunted last month:
The hunter is Ossi Hyvonen from Finland.

Roland Ward for Suni is 3" if my memory serves me right. This little fella measured 5" or just over. Just reward for a guy that has been waiting a long time ...
Our hunting area is very strong on the pygmy antelope, especially Red Duiker, Blue Duiker and Suni. Suni hunting is also great fun and very exciting.

bwanamrmAnd I thought the waterbuck was impressive...that has to be a "top 5" suni! Who said Mozambique was shot out by poachers and the military! Johan, you have some excellent trophies and game populations in your area of Coutada. Congrats!
