Keep sending them aid, drill wells, teach them to farm, build hospitals etc.

Looks like a cancer on the wild.

Wow. Looks as bad as the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

I saw a similar thing in Zim in 1999 on the drive from Humani Ranch to Chiredzi.

The left side of the road was green and lush; the right side of the road was barren.

Guess which side was communal lands and which was privately owned?

Use Enough Gun
And you can bet that those in the right side of the picture are sneaking over into the area on the left side of the picture and poaching, gathering firewood, etc. etc. etc. tu2

Totally misleading; says more about land suitability for agriculture than anything else ... and one could photo thousands of more aggregious examples right here in the US of A.

Reminds me of my area in some ways. You can see how far the homes and development go up the hills and then it turns into forest service and BLM land.

I don't think it's misleading at all. I saw this flying into Chirrisa and you can see it here at home.

Lands protected for hunting are Protected.

We need more.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Yup and we used to have a 100 million buffalo, elk and grizzly on the great plains ...

Like the comedian Bill Burr says: If we could just get the U.S. population down to about 50,000, we could all go to the Super Bowl and a lot of us could play! Here's a video clip ..

You will see this all over Africa and easily visible from Google Earth.
Charisa Safari area in Zim is a good example.

Sadly some reserves in Kenya (Ex hunting areas) are now starting to look like the right hand side of that picture. Now if it had remained a valuable hunting area this would not have been the case.
