Stephen PalosLion's new favourite snack
I received these pictures by e-mail today!
Lions really don't have good taste, do they!
31 July 2008, 15:06
ozhunterOooh! Not just one...
And even the spare.
I wonder how many vehicles cop this abuse?
Nothing a take down Blaser 9.3mm wouldn't fix!!
They aren't too stupid...lunch isn't going anywhere on those tires....

When the fun of puncturing tires wears out, there is no doubt these two thugs will start carjacking the tourists.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

465H&HSmart lions! Flatten the tires, hide near by and wait for someone to get out to change the tire. It's called lion baiting.....

Defender of what? Apparently the stupidity of the people driving it for just sitting there.

PSmithThose people are really lucky the lions don't understand glass. And, it's a woman driver who stopped and let them bite the tires; probably thinks lions are "cute and cuddly" and if you respect and love them they will return the favor.

Man I would like to see what a 458 would do to either one of them very shootable males.
Is it Kenya.
Eagles from above

MacifejLooks like three males in frame numero uno!!
Couple of bang-flashes, some bear spray, a taser, cattle prod...
OH! and a Smith 500 just in case...

Stephen PalosI'm sure it's somewhere in South Africa. The sticker and plates are South African, and they don't look like they are rigged to go far or even the sort to go far.
My guess it's one of these day trip type game reserves we have all over the place here, or one of our national parks. Maybe Pilansberg?
One pic shows the Landie was from a dealer in Potchefstroom. There are a few signposts in the pics but I cannot make them out. Perhaps someone will recognise them?
I had a Landie Discovery once, and from my experience I wouldn't be surprised if they were stuck there with a broken engine

SaeedAt least these people had enough brains to remain in the car.
Unlike that japanese nitwit who though he would get close to them, and got eaten for his trouble.

Damn you! Now I need another keyboard.

And I think I broke a couple of ribs...

Anyway, those lions should have figured out by now that Landies taste like sh!t...
Cheers, Dave.

Jeeez....give it a break!
I'll bet a penny to a dollar they are in Kruger or somesuch where the deal is to drive through the game.
You see lions...you stop to look at them.
Lion starts chewing on tyres...kind of difficult to drive off, though I bet they had wished they had done.
No jack on the ground...nothing to suggest they were stupid.
Lots to suggest they were lucky!

A jack indeed...well spotted that man.

shakariIt's a Defender which probably means it wouldn't start anyway....... if it'd been a Discovery, it would have broken it's gearbox before it ever got into the park............

01 August 2008, 21:12
DavidThe picture with the jack seem to be after the fact. It's not visible in any of the other pictures.
But I have a question, who was outside the car taking the pictures???
