I have seen quite a few discussions and mentions of the 9.3x62mm calibre.

But has anyone here used or uses a 9.3x64mm rifle?

A friend uses one on Sambar deer in the Victoria mountains.

And by reputation it is the metric equivalent to the great 375 H&H.

I would be interested to hear any experiences and knowledge of this great calibre 9.3x64mm.

Thanks for any replies.

The cartridge is definitely gaining favour in Russia. Several ammo manufacturers now make it for hunting (I saw it from Barnaul), and the military use a special sniper version in a semi-auto Dragunov successor.
