I am surprised by you abilities, who would have thought that AR could change from 45-70 mania into a poetry debating society? Let's explore this a bit further! What about a thread on haikus (on African topic I should add)? Someone might even offer a prize for a winner just to make it stop? Lawndart, I have particular expectations when it comes to you. Just a humble attempt on my part... AR aint PC debates rifles and poets Buff dont' give a shit Regards, Martin ----------------------- A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition. - R. Kipling | ||

Since wew are going to give this a go here I thought I would post the official rules of a Haiku. They are as follows: Haikus are a form of poetry, which originated in Japan. They have been used there for centuries and made their way to countries all over the world. These special poems are consisted of three lines: the first line having five syllables, the second having seven syllables, and the third having five syllables. Often haikus are about things in nature, like plants and animals. But more recent forms of haikus are about anything the poet wants to write about.
