I just got a pair of photos from an August '04 lion taken in the Kwandu Linyanti Conservancy. I cropped the hunter because I did not have her permission to post. jim | ||

That's a nice lion Jim! As you know I did the tracking hunt last Oct in the West Caprivi, and although I did not connect, with the Bushman we did track a pride of lion on foot for 7hrs finally getting up on them as they rested behind a termite mound. Lions ran in every direction from just a few yards away, and we found that the male we were following was indeed too young to shoot. It was hot in Oct, and with the early rains Nov may have proved to be a better time. We baited to get tracks, but picked this pride up when they crossed a bush road. The Caprivi, with the loose sand, is one of the few places where one can track lion on foot Botswana-style. | |||

Bwanamich, Evidently so. I have viewed it with a Mac and a PC running different browsers. jim | |||

Michel, I couldn't see it either on one desktop PC, may be an IE security setting, I don't know. I'll email you the pict as was sent to me by the outfitter. Regards, Bill | |||
