benzh,

Welcome to the forum.

You might like to check our Book Forum, there quite a few books mentioned there.

Pick any 5 in the "Books of Interest" forum. Lots of good recommendations there too.

benzh,

I just finished reading George Hoffman's book "A Country Boy In Africa" and throughly enjoyed sharing George's adventure. George's writing style makes you feel like you are on Safari with him. I heartily recommend "A Country Boy In Africa".

Best regards,

HUNTER by J.A. Hunter. It is a must. The book SAFARI by Bartle Boyd is really great, too, if you can find it. If you ever plan to go to Africa, for the first time, or again, those two books will give you a great glimpse of the history of the places you visit... and if you know the history, the whole experience is enhanced in MHO.... but what do you expect of someone who majored in History and has a channel lock on The History Channel?
