I haven't done crap yet. Is it too late? When is everyone going and where are you folks staying? Sorry this whole work thing keeps interfering with my life ...

Chuck,

It's not too late and I'd bet Circus Circus has rooms. They are in the complex with Silver legacy and the El Dorado with bus service to the show all day. Circus Circus 1-800-648-5010.

It will only cost you about a hundred dollars a night for a room. I stayed in a nice room, since I only showered and slept there I could care less about the room. Sierra Grande was $34.95 thru some discount hotel service, and they had hourly shuttles running back and forth.

Besides, Reno and the SHOT Show make a great week and way to start the year.

Back when I had even less money than I have now, I once found a last minute room at The Sands Regency for $17 per night. A short walk to the Silver Legacy and you're on the shuttle. They were even doing a renovation when I was there so it may be nicer now.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Thanks all got reasonable flights and permission from the boss ... Smiler I'm coming in Thursday around noon and leaving Saturday around the same time, staying at the Silver Legacy. If you folks plan to get together at some point either Thursday or Friday for a drink let me know.

Thanks again,

Chuck

I'll be there all four days, actually arriving Tuesday mid afternoon. Staying at Circus. Please post any plans on meeting up somewhere and will try to make it. Thanks.
