Howdy All, Great news from Argentina! After almost 20 months of being locked down, Argentina will be opening travel for hunting, tourism, etc. as of November 1, 2021. See below for further details: https://www.worldnomads.com/tr...gentina/travel-alert https://www.setours.com/corona...pdate-south-america/ This means that hunting in Argentina can begin again, and trophies will now be allowed out of the country. If you or anyone you know has trophies in Argentina that need to get to the US, please contact Safari Specialty Importers today!

From the second link:
Kinda hard to get a PCR test in the middle of the Pampas. Now, if someone is going for just a week then no problem.

Tanks, I am sure that outfitters will be able to provide solutions to these matters in country. I know that my outfitter in Tanzania was able to arrange a doctor to visit our hotel to administer the tests so that we could depart the following day. This is a developing situation in which communication with your outfitter will be key!

Yes, this is great news for those of us that love Argentina and for our Argentine outfitters. One issue is getting reasonable amounts of flights to resume. I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills. Marcus Cady DRSS

I’ve always been intrigued with hunting Argentina, but wonder about taking guns (I’m a lefty) and if the trophies make it home? Those that have been, what was your experience?

Southpaws can be accommodated with shotguns. Rifles are different, but we do have high quality rifles that should be sufficient. Trophy importation is somewhat pricey. I’ve left mine there and they hang in the lodge. My father had two stag and maybe two Buffalo imported and it cost more than what I paid for 16 animals from Africa. We also have a problem with airlines not shipping hunting “trophies.” Checkout https://www.milesandmilesoutfitters.com/our-hunts I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills. Marcus Cady DRSS
