Thanks to a good transaction with Recoil Rob I have the two letters he posted about a couple of weeks ago.

I thought I would share them with y'all!

The letters- one from Charles Jeffery, London and the return letter from Abercrombie and Fitch USA.

That is very cool.

I also found it very interesting to note how quickly the mail made it between London and NYC in 1911.

Almost 100 years later is still takes more than double that amount of time to get a letter/parcel from around here to London.

I doubt you could find anyone under thirty today who could write in cursive like that second letter.
