By chance would anyone have info/pics of a good tusker, approaching 90 lbs. taken by a client of Rolf Rohwer, late in the 2004 hunting season?

I heard that Rohwer sued the elephant for being light and lost the copyright on the photos in a countersuit brought by the widowed cow. Or did that suit involve an ammo maker and a lion? Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

Elephant was shot in Lake Burunge Controlled Area just to the north of Tarangire National Park. Quite possibly several lawsuits came out of it!

Jangili, I had heard the same but never saw a pic. Smelled awfully "rotten" when i heard it.... What do you know about the story? "...Them, they were Giants!" J.A. Hunter describing the early explorers and settlers of East Africa hunting is not about the killing but about the chase of the hunt.... Ortega Y Gasset

Yes, I saw pictures of the elephant, the hunter, and Rolf. They were on display at the 2005 SCI in Reno. I think the pictures were there again this year, 2006. Rolf Rohwer can produce excellent trophy animals for his clients. Sincerely, Virginia Creeper E Pluribus Unum - where out of many, we will become one.
