I have never shot one, but I love the sound of the 270/7mm Dakota on the video section. WOW! That is a sweet sound.

I would use my trusty 338 Win Mag. Although not tested in Africa, it has proven itself as a super accurate and comfortable field companion. I have taken black bear at 15 yards and 250 yards and it was the hammer each time.

My go to gun as of late has been my Winchester Stainless Classic in .300 Win Mag. As a matter of fact it has accounted for the last 6 animals I have taken including the Kudu in my avatar shot in Namibia at a tad over 300 yards.

mine would be the old work horse 30\06 with a 200 gn nosler or woodleigh with 61 gns of NORMA MRP at 2700

No doubt about it: .338 with 250 Nosler Partitions. Its never let me down.

I would use my 300 H&H pre 64 Model 70. My second choice would be my Johannsen 375 Mauser.
