I wasn’t sure to put this here or under travel but picked here as I calculate that us as hunters in Africa are the biggest user of the rifle case.

I bought my original TuffPack in 2006 and it has made around 18 trips over and back since that first trip. It has always performed as expected and never had any damaged contents.

This year when I arrived in Polokwane and was going through the SAPs check there we noticed the lid to my Tuffpack had a crack running along the top. Concerning but still had enough integrity to survive the trip and make it back to Tennessee.

When I returned home I contacted them about replacement. There was some discussion about if it would be covered under warranty and after a couple of emails back and forth they said to return the case to them and they would either replace the lid or the entire case. Evidently the lids are custom cut when the case is made and one size doesn’t fit every case.

After a week or so had went by they informed me they had a new lid with a lock and keys that fit the case and shipped the case back to me. I paid for the shipping there and they paid to ship it back.

It is nice to see they stand behind their product and I am looking forward to another 18+ trips with the same case. It wouldn’t feel the same looking for a different rifle case to come out at baggage.

WOW!! That is GREAT customer service, and I would expect that from them... I have one as well, never a problem.
There are not many companies these days that will offer lifetime repair/replacement, and return it shipping paid!! First Class!!...Just like Leupold Scopes!!

Nice outcome. I have two Tuffpaks that have taken a lot of abuse, but are still functioning. The only problem that I have ever had is that someone tried to cut the strap on one of mine in half to try and get into the case. They weren't successful or were seen doing it and stopped. I have stitched it back and it has held fine for the last few years.
