I’d like to thank everyone that came to the AR gathering in Atlanta last week. I think everyone had a good time. Not as large a turnout as last year, but that was fine as it made for a relaxed setting, good conversation and we got to witness the Broncos get clobbered. Me being the bonehead that I am, left my camera at home, so the few pics I took with my phone are bad. Here they are though: Craig Boddington and his lovely wife Donna along with Bill Jones came and had dinner with us. It was great to meet them. They look just like they do on TV too!! Donna is a super salesperson and sold me enough of Craig’s books to keep my Africa fix in check until I can get back over.  Here is Johann Veldsman of Shona Hunting Adventures and his US rep Dave Brown. Johann is all smiles knowing the Jaegermeister is on its way!!  The guy second from the right is Charl Van Rooyen of Infinito Safaris and to his left is Russ Lovemore of Safari Trails International. Those two know more about bontebok than any two men should! I don’t recall the other two gentlemen’s names, but maybe Charl could fill us in?  Anyway thank you again to all these guys and also Aaron Neilson, Jim Riley, Darryl Martin and anyone else I might have left out! Yall made it a great evening for this old country boy!! Adam 30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking. | ||

Adam, thanks a bunch brother! We all had a great time, and the company was fantastic. IT was fantastic to have met Russ and share some common passions. I also learned quite a bit from him on their hunting in the Eastern Cape. To my right sits John Wambach from Namibia. He specialise in backpack hunts in Namibia. He is a super guy! The gentleman next to him was GErman, that is all I know. Aaron, sorry about the Broncos man! There is nothing special. I just think at the bigger shows he is very bussy and have a full schedule. At the smaller Atlanta show he could pinch of a bit of time to spend with us! We had a blast!
