Our first morning with Terry started with a bang a double hit from the same position. First an impala ram and then a large Red Hartebeest cow. The quality of YouTube is not marvelous and I added a little window with an arrow showing where the impala was. He was busy walking but as you can see the bush is very thick and from my angle with the camera you can only see the impala moving after the shot on a clear big screen. But this just goes to show you what really happens at real time with no wait for the camera to be ready or asking any questions. Real time hunting action Terry with a Double Frederik Cocquyt I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Good job Terry! JAH- If I heard the PH correctly he said Terry is shooting a 338 with A-Frames. We seldom get to choose But I've seen them go both ways And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory Than to slowly rot away!

Nice job, Terry. I took my first big game "double" last year in Namibia with Omatako Hunting Trails. We were set up to ambush a large cow oryx we saw working her way down the hillside. After I put her down an old bull we had not seen stepped out from a depression and my Ph said to take him for camp meat. Two shots from my 338-06 with 225gr TSX's and we had two oryx down within 10 yards of eachother. I've shot "doubles" one birds before, but never on big game. Exciting! 114-R10David

Ja, the arrangement was that the hunt would come first and the video second. If we get it on video, good, if not, also good! That is why the footage is so exciting.....everything was real life hunting.....I did not ask the camerman if he was in position or not...... I hope you guys enjoyed it.....I can assure you all we had a ball !!!! Putting down an oryx with one shot is quite a feat. Back to back with just one shot each is impressive.
