Gentlemen,

Just a note to let you know that the films are on Double Layer DVDs, so please make sure your DVD drive is capable of writing to Double Layer disks.

All DVD drives can read Double Layer disks, but not all can write to them.

Dual layer, not a problem. I'd better copy the Wedding and Honeymoon video first; wife not appreciate it if the first thing copied on the new drive was African hunting. Wink

When you start a list I hope the "bad actors" from the past are excluded.

Sign up should be by e-mail to you and you send out the list in one post or posts by area.

I know you probably get a lot of unsolicited suggestions and there may be several better solutions but quite frankly last year was just plain bad from my little perspective.

Thank you for the suggestions Odie. I intend to include several individuals who were cut-out of receiving the discs this year due to the problems. I don't keep track of those who did not fulfill their declared obligations because I prefer to move forward and not dwell on those who do not do what they say they will. I know I have been guilty of letting sand slip through my hands while juggling life so I prefer not to try to judge.
The first year I tried this I sent a mailing list with names addresses and contacts with the tapes but those were lost as well. It seemed to work well enough when I had the time to constantly check the lists and send countless PM's to multiple individuals to ask that they stay on track. This year I won't have that kind of time or money to repeat the making of 20 or more sets of disks. I am therefor asking for help in duplication first so I can satisfy a very large group of members. I will also be asking that individuals take responsibility for contacting those signed on ahead of them to continue sending the discs forward.
I know this can work if everyone will help.
