As a veterinarian...I can tell you that similar behavior takes place in all species of mammals...really prevalent in cattle herds with younger bulls. The males exhibit this behavior out of frustration with nonreceptive females. It has NOTHING to do with homosexualism. Males observed doing it always immediately take a receptive female when a available. This is nothing new and cannot be extrapolated to human behavior.
