Rip, Should Saeed have such a problem, he would have the ammo or guns flown into camp from wherever those components were available and have it done overnight. He would and has had that done for his guests, so its not a problem with Saeed. quote: Yeh Ray, I know. A fool such as Saeed and his money are soon parted, and it matters not. However, even the ordinary po' folks on safari can oddball to hearts content, as long as they bring along the backup .375 H&H/Wby, Now that reminds me: The one good chance we had to take out Osama in Afghanistan during the Clinton administration, they called it off because there was a private jet of the UAE cluttering up the target zone and they were afraid they might take out a prince from Dubai or something like that. They called off the cruise missiles. The thought of Saeed's private overnight air freight capabilities just reminded me to ask this. Was that an Osama camo job/decoy, or was Walterhog touring Al Quaeda for ideas on how to outdo Saeed in the dirty tricks department? Or, is Walterhog sometimes dispatched by jet from Dubai as a secret weapon to terrorize the terrorists? The latter works for me.

Taking a standard .375 H&H plus the wildcat or oddball of your choice is a strategy that could work, alright. AD

And taking a .375 Wby plus the oddball would work too. Shooting the standard .375 H&H ammo in your .375 Wby chamber will slow those factory loads down by only 100 to 150fps. According to some, a 2350 to 2400 fps .375/300gr is more lethal than any faster bullet. This is a bit misguided. At least it is possible to hunt Africa with a wildcat oddball and a proprietary oddball, two-gun combo, and never miss a beat due to lost ammo.
