There was a post last year about self-guided hunts in BF. Since the season is pretty much over, I was wondering whether anyone went? I almost did but got bad vibes from the email exchanges...it looked like I was buying a cheap buffalo/PG hunt but it was going to turn out to be an expensive plains game hunt. I wanted to go with a buddy and hunt together....there was no allowance ie discount for 2 hunters hunting together. I was told that if we did, by law there had to be 4 guides with us. And I wanted to spend a few days in camp before the hunt doing some fishing and bird hunting but that was not possible either it seemed (even though we would be feeding ourselves..)

So I am wondering whether anyone went this year and if so ARE THERE ANY BUFFALO?
