So... (what feels like) only a few days ago it was already light outside when I got up at my usual time of around 5am...

Then - (almost suddenly) it was still dark and the guinea fowl and francolin only started with their racket when I was halfway through my 2nd cup of coffee in the morning...

Since about a week ago we haven't been using the air conditioning in our bedroom at night...

And night before last I lit the fireplace for the first time this year...

Which means

WINTER IS COMING!!!...

And winter = HUNTING SEASON!

With my first commercial hunt for the season coming up soon I want to take this opportunity to wish all fellow PH's, Outfitters and Hunters (drinkers and non-drinkers alike ) all the best for the upcoming season.

May the ZAR vs the US$ get to 14/1 again
