As of last November 2003, Gerard was still hunting even though he does have a beautiful farm in the area. I believe he freelances as needed.

hugh,

I am envious!! I won't be able to go until I get this leopard hunt out of the way.

You should do well. One of the roads that you will be driving on is the road that is the boundry for the park and your concession. Not too shabby, eh? The picture that Terry submitted should give you more than a few sleepless nights!! WOW!!

All the best.

Regards,

Sam

Hugh,

I spent 10 days in Lolkisale last October (very dry) and saw a total of six bulls. Three of them were of "shoot on sight" quality. This is the one I took. He taped 45".

Bwanamrm and another hunter were came into camp after I left and I think they hunted there a week and didn't see a buffalo. You'll be going at a more favorable time of year and the permanent water will aid matters greatly.

I'd go back in a heartbeat.

You sure couldn't go wrong with Gerad Miller. I have known him and of him since '73.

Shame that one is not allowed to hunt 2 kilometers from a Park boundary

Hugh,
do you know who your PH will be? If you have any choice and if Adam can arrange, the ABSOLUTE BEST guy to have for that area is one GERARD MILLER.

Happy hunting!

Indeed. No one I know of has a more impressive collection of 48" - 52" buffalo at home from that area than Gerard. He has his own ranch down there and knows that place like his bedroom....
