Sorry to bring up this old thread. I've been away from the AR scene for a while. I was watching TAA this morning, saw Owain, and was stunned to hear at the conclusion that he'd been killed.

I shared a buff camp with Owain in Binga a few years ago. He guided my buddy to a buff on his first day. Owain was a fine man and I enjoyed every moment with him. My condolences to his family.

I don't think you should apologize for bringing up this old thread; we are never diminished by remembering our lost.

I saw TAA last night myself. It was a nice tribute. What a brave man.

And I too watched that episode and agree that is was a very good tribute to a grand PH...
I did not know Owain but knew people who hunted with him and only had the highest regard for him and his skills as a hunter...
