Greetings AR members,

Many of you may have been wondering why we have not been active on the forum in recent months. Our son who manages our website and does all our forum postings has spent 310 days in hospital over the past eighteen months undergoing five major spinal operations. For those that do not know us personally, Brett is an achondroplasia (dwarf) he has had a total of twelve back operations in his life to keep him out of a wheelchair. There is still more surgery ahead but recent surgery has been a huge success.

He is now at home recuperating and has spent the past few weeks revamping our website (www.ktsafaris.co.za) We have attempted to make our website as user friendly as possible where you are able to find basically everything you would need to book a safari with us.

NEW FEATURES

All our 2014 hunting areas and price lists are available for download.

Documents that you would require for planning your safari to travelling in Africa, firearm importation documentation, frequently asked question, checklists etc. can now be downloaded directly from the website.

We have also added 18 new hunting stories for you to download and read at your leisure. These are new stories that do not appear in my first two published books.

We are also excited to announce that we have added Mozambique to our hunting portfolio along with Zimbabwe and South Africa for 2014.

We would love to hear from AR members your thoughts on our website both positive and negative. Please feel free to offer suggestions or ideas that you may have that may help us improve our site further.

Regards,
Kevin Thomas

The website looks good, but I noticed there is no pricing information for Zimbabwe. It's there for SA and Moz, but not for Zim. I hope you will add this soon. Another suggestion would be to have some photo galleries with pictures of the hunting areas and your camps. Anyway, good luck and I'll give you a look when I get ready to go. Thanks.

Hi Scojac, On the Zimbabwe Page on the lower left hand side you will find a download button for Zimbabwe Prices. The reason for this is we hunt in three different areas and have a price list for each area. I hope that helps you.

We have a few photo's of the camps on the Zimbabwe Photo Gallery Page. I will add some more in due course. Space a bit limited and we felt a greater selection of trophies was of more importance.

Thank you again for your comments. Much Appreciated.

Hello Kevin;
Great to see your post....I was thinking of you recently and wondering if you and your wife have moved since Tony and I visited??
My wife and I visited Tony in East London in April on a World Cruise....had him aboard and treated him to Lunch in the main dining room...had a great time chatting and catching up....he has had a real difficult time with undiagnosed cerebral malaria from his Ph work in Cameroon...and of recent has had a pretty serious eye surgery....he is doing well now!!
Greg has been fishing most of summer...have not chatted but e-mailed!!
I am very interested in Mozi....I will take a look at your website and get back to you...still looking for the last 2 of African 29 for SCI....Roan, Kob or Puku, Sitatunga, bongo, Aoudad, Tanzania Gazelle...
All the best to you both and a speedy recovery for your son.
Cheers...Steve

Kevin:
I've had one spinal fusion and looking at another soon as I heal from other things.
Having a dozen spinal surgeries and still walking is amazing. I wish Brett well with it, and you with your hunting operations.
