On CC's first post, he set the time at 8:00 PM. If this has changed I will find out that afternoon at the giraffe bar.

Seriously, While I advertise at 24hr, I enjoy this forum as well, I'll drop by the Giraffe bar and say hello.

shootaway

I think you bumped in to the wrong post Smiler

The SCI Show is held in Reno Nevada, which is not the easiest place to get to I can tell you, but worth the money to do so.

The other convention is more natural to be hold in Dallas Texas since that is Dallas Safari Club.

Sorry for the late noticed, but just got cleared from the office to attend the Reno show this past week - this will be my 5th, and it never gets old.

As a known SCI character / Life Member, I'd love to spend some time meeting and getting to know some of you'all. If there is still space available, please sign me up. I might stop by the lounge as well. Also want to find out if there are an AR's who also hunt Africa with bow and arrow.

I'll be staying at the Sands Regency Thurs-Sun.

Thanks,

Ken

No hissing fit, but I do think that SCI and the NRA for that matter should do business where they are welcome. Hunters and shooters are not welcome in New York.

cchunter ----- I will not be making the trip to Reno that I had looked so forward too. My mother-in-law had a heart attack (minor) yesterday and my best buddy (wife) and I are needed here for several days. I may possibly make Dallas, but the chances are not likely. Thanks again for all your trouble in setting up this get together, very sorry I will not be there. Pat

For those attending Friday night's dinner. CCHunter is correct. I took a walk and Claim Jumpers is very close to the convention center.

The convention center is currently a hub of activity. This show is going to be huge.

See you at the Giraffe bar on Friday afternoon.
