Ostrich? Maybe two days out of the eggs?

Maybe Walter needs to disguise himself as a young ostrich. Should be REALLY effective for lion hunting...

Very similar to baby sand grouse. At a day old, they are almost invisible.

a plover nests along the edge of my driveway every year and lays her eggs in the small rounded river rocks. when i drive by she pops up and runs off dragging a wing, as if injured. you have to look VERY close to tell the eggs from the rocks. her chicks have never made it more than few days as best as i can tell. the feral cats, skunks and foxes get them. i have seen the babies a few times after hatching and without the mother to clue you in to their location, you would never see them.
