Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have heard of spotted zebra before, but have never seen one until now.

This photo is from the book ON SAFARI WITH BWANA GAME: by ERIC BALSON, published by Safari Press, ISBN # 1-57157-179-5.

An interesting book. I will post a few quotes from it as I read it.

Neat! The only way to mount this animal would be a full body mount! Man, I've seen thousands of Zebra, but never seen anything close to this! [Cool]

I have seen pictures of the "negative" pattern (black with white stripes) zebras before, but this is really new. Maybe some enterprising game rancher will capture this one and start a breeding program. I have heard that there is a growing herd of negative zebras on a ranch somewhere in RSA. Perhaps we could sweet-talk ALF into finding out when he gets back. They make a truly spectacular hide, as would these . . . assuming a stable population could be established (NO pun intended!)
