I think its not only a good plains game bullet, but a very good afordable bullet. I have some on my bench, I just havent loaded them yet.

Here are a couple of scanned photos of accubonds I recovered. The lightest, at 150 grains (58%) went through the shoulder of a mountain zebra at 45 yards and buried in the off shoulder. It expanded to .70 in. The two others were from a gemsbok and a kudu. The Gemsbok was a Texas heart shot follow up on my son's bull, penetrated to front of shoulder. The other was under the hide of my kudu, don't know how much bone it hit, probably only ribs. These were 200 and 187 grains, both expanded to .63 and .71. BobC was kind enough to show me those bullets on our last trip to the range. Very impressive. The jacket and the core stay together.

I like the way the Accubonds shoot in my Whitworth.

Those look pretty darn good...
