Hi Ted,

If your trophies are coming into Houston, try Worldwide Energy Logistics. Phone# 281-606-2400. Ask for Cindy. They cleared my trophies from Zambia with no fuss, and very reasonably priced.

+1, WELL Worldwide, if Cindi is not available ask for Lynette. I have used WELL Worldwide five or six times now with no issues.

Are things different in Alaska?
I've never used a broker. When the call comes that my trophies have landed, I call Customs and F&W, they meet me at the shipper to clear, and I'm off with them.
Can you do the same?
Cal

You can clear them yourself Cal, but if you aren't close to the airport It can be very difficult. and every port of entry is different. Some will release them to the hunter and some will require that they go to a USDA approved facility. Ports of entry are like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get until the crate arrives.
