Gents,

Missed DSC this year due to the tedious business of gainful employment, but Jane (aka the She-Wolf) and I are headed that way this evening and will be wandering around on Saturday.

I'll be the down-at-the-heels, over-the-hill, Howdy Doody lookin' cowboy with the beat-to-hell Stetson and the salt and cayenne moustache and beard.

Jane's the handsome filly with me who has the carriage of good breeding and the burden of lousy taste in men.

Looking forward to putting some faces with names!

Mark

So it will be easy to identify each other, each AR member should wear a sequined glove on their left hand. This system worked well in Dallas.

Met up with Pieter at his Mabelinwane / Game Trackers Africa booth. Greg Rodriguez (Global Hunting Adventures) is putting together a proposal for 2007, starting with Pieter and swapping to Blaauwkrantz after five days in the Grahamstown area. My wife wants a waterbuck BAD! We plan to take the kids to "see Africa" so it will be a touring thing along with a couple trophies. Take care.

Hey Folks!

Jane and I regret not getting to meet any other AR members this trip, but we rolled in later than we'd planned from Lousy-anna and then spent most of the available time deciding on an '09 ele hunt.

Didn't see the memo on sequined glove requirements 'til today...and I'm proud to report that I didn't see anyone wearing one (at least not before the banquet anyway!). Mine was at the cleaners...

Anybody know what the JRT puppy brought at auction this year? Kinda curious as it is a kennel-mate of our latest JRT, which arrived stateside in November.
