Had a great hunt. All five of us shot our quota in four days so the hunting was excellent. Absolutely no major issues on the terrorism front except for a number of security checkpoints (at least four, maybe five) between Ouagadougou and the concession. It was, however, a west African hunt which takes the phrase "on African time" to a whole new level. If you can't roll with the punches, Burkina Faso probably isn't for you. For pure, unadulterated adventure, this had it from the moment we got off the plane in Ouaga until we climbed back on!

Had the pleasure of getting to know several of the AR posters and hunt with them on this trip. Fine gentlemen and sportsmen all. Missed you Mike!

We did have a great hunt, and it was really nice having a group of 5 AR guys hunting together. Russell is 100% right that you better be able to roll with the punches when traveling to a place like this, but the hunting was beyond my expectations for sure. I am working on a report now, and I am sure many of the other guys will report as well.

Good Hunting,
