This is a pair of tusks that were in my possession for a while. They came from Kenya. Both tusks were slightly over 9 foot along the curves. There is a 4 pound difference. I'm holding the heavy tusk. Let the guessing begin! I will report when somebody guesses it.

Dutch, you are the winner. I think you had insider info! 102 and 98 it was, weighed on official scales. They seemed to me to have a very small nerve cavity for such long ivory. They were truly a thing to behold. Just imagine tracking up to such a bull with a rifle in your hand! I wish I knew the first hand account of this hunt, hunter, and so forth. Would share if I did. Was a honor to run my hands over them, which I did a million times. Hope you guys enjoyed the pic!
