My first safari to Zim is getting closer. I purchased airline tickets through Kathi at Wildtravel yesterday for me, the wife and 2 sons. A hard pill to swallow at $11.5K for RT tickets.

Last Jan in Dallas I met with Zambezi hunters and booked a 10 day hunt for my boys and I with my wife going along to "observe". Only 7.5 months to go. I am taking my wife to Dallas this year to meet Jonathon so that he can help to reduce her fear factor. That should be a rich experience.

Last year at the Comfort Inn, Retreever got the ear of my boys and showing them his pictures and that was it, we had to book the hunt.

I am flying NW from Minneapolis to Dulles then SAA to Johannesburg and Harare. Spend the night in Harare and then fly into camp. On the way back we are chartered from camp to Vic Falls then Johannesburg etc.

Two days in Vic Falls for a breather before coming home.
