I know there are several excellent premium bullets out there, but, if none of the others were available today, which of the others would you use for game up to the size and weight of Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, and Kudu? The calibers would be 375 H&H, and 300 Ultra Mag.

Mike,
I have gotten fantastic accuracy out of the 200gr 30cal AccuBonds. I am going to try the 260's in my .375H&H next.

I used the 200grAB last year at Gras, they work.

IMO you have a short list of extremely fine bullets and you don't plan on hunting dangerous game. I'd use 200 grain bullets in the .30 cal and 270 grains in the .375 cal.

Flip a coin, they're all good. Personally I like the Swift A-frames and on my return trip that's what I'll likely be shooting.

Mike.

Try the accubonds in your rifle and see how they shoot, if you can max them out velocity wise and they still shoot accurately you'd be hard pressed to find a better bullet for the job. You've seen my results with the 225's in .338. The 200's in .30 cal are excellent also.

I haven't used them on game so I can't say how they perform in that department, but I've gotten the best accuracy ever from any bullet in this rifle with the 200 grain Accubonds in my 300 Weatherby. I moly coated them myself, and 80 gr. of RL22 gave me 3000+ f.p.s.

I very much like the Accubinds from an accuracy standpoint. I will use the 260 gr for my 375 H&H with the best accuracy(0.377") yet out of that rifle.

I will be taking this load to RSA strictly for plains and hope to have a report on their effectiveness upon my return. I have also shot the 160gr in my 7x57 and was also very pleased with the results from a velocity/accuracy standpoint. Some of the reports, I have read on this forum from Africa, tell of good results with Accubonds.

There have also been very good reports of the effectivenss of the Hornandy Interbonds.

The only thing I dislike about the Swift A-Frame is that they have a B.C. only slightly higher than a cinder block.

In the more "economical" range (I've used a lot of Barnes X & XLC over the years) I've decided to give a serious oppertunity to the Accubond after a lot of reading and questioning. Just ordered up a bunch for my 7mm wildcat that I use for Ibex (140 gr). If they perform as I'm pretty confident they will, other calibers will follow in .30 caliber and below.
