Can anyone recommend a shipping agent/freight forwarder in South Africa? I did some searching here and found Safari Cargo and Zengela Forwarders. The company doing the dip and pack uses Safari Cargo but I wanted to have a couple more quotes to compare.

Thanks!

Adam

I have trophies going through JNB as we speak and we used Safari Cargo Systems. So far they have done a good job.

Just received my trophies the other day. Used Logwin Logistics. Everything up front . No surprises. Great communications.

I'm not too happy with them thus far as they have had my crates for over 6 weeks and don't get updates unless I ask, last time was permit issues and that they were to be on the airline 4 weeks ago after the mess up and guess what, nothing yet.

Thanks!

Thanks for your posting Patrick.

I have contacted all of these and asked for the information that each Hunting Outfitter should have in order to properly advise their clients on the choice. I'll see what I get in reply and perhaps condense it in a "How To..." article for posting in the Africa Information and Reference section.

I have used both Safari Cargo and SBS Logistics (www.sbslogistics.co.za). Of the two, I think I got better service from SBS.

I have used Safari Cargo on 4 occasions and everything went well. This year will be using Zingela as I was a different dip and pack company for cost reasons and they seem to like Zingela. What are others experiences with Zingela?

Rex Freight Forwarders took great care of me and my buddy. Constant contact via email and was delivered as promised with no issues. I would gladly use again.

I would recommend Spherical as I have used them hundreds of times for everything from client trophies to multi-ton stone shipments in the past 24 years. Spherical is Denise & Clive Crichton, formerly of Worldwide.
