Just watched the Tracks Across Africa issue in which Boddington's daughter shot a buff with a .405 win in a Ruger #1. They used special loads from Hornady with 400 gr bullets. Can these bullets be had?

Not on the market yet, to my knowledge. You can buy Woodleigh .411 bullets for the 450/400 and have what in all probability, will be a superior bullet to the Hornady.

I think that is what Boddington said Hornady did for those .405 loads. I.E. used the bullet they are using for their new 450/400 loading. Is that possible? Those are both .411's?
