Just watched the Tracks Across Africa issue in which Boddington's daughter shot a buff with a .405 win in a Ruger #1. They used special loads from Hornady with 400 gr bullets. Not on the market yet, to my knowledge. You can buy Woodleigh .411 bullets for the 450/400 and have what in all probability, will be a superior bullet to the Hornady. DRSS(We Band of Bubba's Div.) N.R.A (Life) T.S.R.A (Life) D.S.C. | |||

I think that is what Boddington said Hornady did for those .405 loads. I.E. used the bullet they are using for their new 450/400 loading. Is that possible? Those are both .411's? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Lane Easter, DVM A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender.
