I am feeling better after 5 back operations, a hunt this year looks 60%-70% like it will happen, As many elephants as possibel, PAC, cows, if its gray, has a trunk and is legal-watch-out!!! I am 100% happy with the 2 guns I hunt with I have hot around 225 head with them, long ago I ordered just for fun couple David Miller Rifle's they are finally done. I dont go shooting as often, I dont need them for the bush as I like what I have. I'd like to sell them. So What I need is someone who has a table at SCI Dallas that I could consign them with, David has a table in Reno so I'm set there. any help would be sincerly appericated. Hello to all my friends here, I havent forgot about anyof you, I just still get sad looking and reading about hunting when I cant go because Of my health, my email is : EP90210@hotmail.com telephone: 702-241-8000 any help is appericated, i'm very sorry this is in the wrong forum, but i didnt know where else to post it and I know lots of people here on this forum, my warmest regards eric petersen sorry about the spelling, I missed that class.

what ahss happened to the expensive gun market? are the prices down? and how much (average) for $30,000 to $50,000 range? in Watches for example they are down 30%-50% from their highs 2 years ago, the price range there is $10,000-$250,000, the more expensive watches didnt go down as much a few went up. Exotic cars are off 0%-50% depending on the car, Vintage cars are doing ok. Billiard cues are up and down depending on who built them, vintage ones are up in price. the price range on them is $5,000-$60,000. Yes Cue's are that much $$$ David Miller is charging $50,000 each for the 2 guns he just finished for me-If I ordered them now and a 3-4 year wait. I didnt pay that much because I ordered them in 01. So I can make a deal and pay a commishion too. I love them but dont need them, I'm happy with what I hunt with-If I wasnt I'd keep them. thanks in advance, I just havent been involved in the hunting/shooting sports world for a couple years. So I appericate the advice. best eric sorry about the spelling, I missed that class.

JBoutfishn I believe Eric is asking is: "For rifles that sold in the $30k to $50k range a couple of years ago, how much have prices fallen percentage wise?" Eric We have not forgotten you. Every time I see that video tape titled "Zimbabwe 2002" I think of what a generous act it was for you to mail them to us. As far as generosity, you are the only person on this forum that is in the same league as Saeed. I wish you the best of luck in health and hunting. I'm going to do that again on my next hunt for my AZ family. I cant wait!!!! I sure do hope I can hunt this year. The main reason for this thread is to see whats happened to gun values. have they went down or up, I know "Black" tatcial guns are up in price, But whats happened to the values/prices of big game hunting rifles? I'm happy with what I have. But 2 guns I ordered many years ago are now finishrd and I really dont need them as I'm happy with what I have. So when I go to sell these new ones, what can I expect? they will be hard to sell> because the economy is bad. They will be easy because oil prices are up and the oil men in Texas are doing good??? Thanks in advance for the info on the gun market. sorry about the spelling, I missed that class.

Eric, Have you asked the maker if he can sell them for you? I would expect he may have a better chance than anyone else? Just a thought. I expect that you may have better luck with those guns simply due to the reputation of the maker. It is a very limited market and my guess is that many of the people who could afford one 3 to 4 years ago still can. Good luck. ****************************************************************** R. Lee Ermey: "The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle." ****************************************************************** We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! This would be my suggestion as well. When my father passed away 3 years ago he had a commissioned rifle being built, and the smith simply sold the rifle to someone else when it was done and sent the money already paid back to us. It did take him a couple months to find a buyer for that particular rifle but it worked out best for everyone all the way around. for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

A lot of high end items are being hammered badly. I just sent an exotic car to be sold today as I was rarely driving it. The price I was told to expect was 30% less than what I paid less than a year ago. That would be unheard of a couple of years ago. I have the cost of selling on top of that. Good luck.

"Black Rifle" prices have gone down quite a bit, accessories are now going up. "Tactical Shotguns" are going up some now too. Those that can afford high end rifle will still be able to afford to buy and go hunt w/them. I think the maker selling them would be the easiest. I'd sure hate to have the airlines lose one of those between your home and DFW.
