I'm a new member of this site and thought i'd say thanks for this forum on African hunting. I don't know if I will ever do an African hunt but if i do, you can bet i'll be right here begging for info. I've always wanted to hunt there since i was a young boy growing up chasing whitetails and reading Jack O'Connor's books. I enjoy all your pictures and stories and all the info you so generously share with us all. Thanks again.

Welcome aboard.
Ask away when you are ready. There will be no shortage of advice, most of it quite good, by the way. There is no better site on the internet, and the accumulated experience here is staggering.
Good Hunting,
Bill

Welcome M70Nut! As lamapacker said:"Ask away when you are ready"

How would you know that you are ready? Easier to say when you are NOT ready. If you don't know anything about any subject you are not ready. You would not know how to ask the question! How would one respond to a question like this one: "Please tell me everything about hunting in Africa?".

When you 'think', but are not very sure that you know an answer to a question, and you feel you can pose the question so that other members of this forum will understand exactly what you want clarification about, well then, please ask away!

I also invite you to respond to questions asked by others,if you feel you can contribute with your wisdom/knowledge. This is how this group ideally functions!

Again welcome.

In good hunting.

Welcome to the forum M70Nut! Stay on this site long enough and you'll be ready for Africa. "Long enough" is not much time either!

You have found a great site here, enjoy and try to hook up with the guys in person now and then. I have really benefitted by doing that!

Welcome M70Nut! If you have even an inkling of an interest to hunt Africa, hanging out here will push you into making it a reality.

I use to think I could never afford to do so, but now that I've been, and been back and back, I wonder what took so long.
