Colonel Jeff Cooper's latest/last book Shotluck, has just been released by Wisdom Publishing.

www.jeffcooperbooks.com

It is written in the Colonel’s inimitable erudite style. The Colonel was truly a man of diverse interests and Shotluck demonstrates that. The book is wide ranging and so covers subjects such as hunting in Southwest Africa, a Cuban’s ferocious resistance to Castro’s tyranny, capital punishment, aesthetics, and numerous other subjects.

May all read it and become fine, strong citizens of the Republic.

The first time I met LtCol Cooper was about 25 years ago at an outdoor pistol range in Tjunga, CA .... he was wearing a monocle .... and combined with his military bearing and typical serious expression he looked more than a little formidible.

Good for your and right you are. Everyone should be a member. It isn't perfect but I do believe some of us would have already had to fight to the death for our rights if it were not for the NRA.

I always enjoy his writing but charging $50 per book seems a bit extreme especially as I think some of them are full-size paperbacks.

DB Bill

I just checked the website www.jeffcooperbooks.com and the information on all the books stated they were hard backs.

Tom, thanks for the reminder. I just placed my order.

DB Bill, considering that the books are privately published, and ARE hardback, $50 is not unreasonable. These volumes are again available to us in hardback due to the labor of love of Col. Cooper's youngest daughter, Lindy Wisdom. Without her efforts, this last volume would probably not have even been published.
