Considering a bull elephant and tuskless hunt in the Turk Mine area of Zimbabwe this coming season. Has anyone hunted this area recently for elephant in mid to late September? What was your experience? Would you recommend this area during that time period?

Turk Mine, Shangani areas of the Midlands is an area that one of my friend just returned from.
He had an enjoyable trip, taking a bull on the second last day. And although they did see quite a few Bulls (no cows) during the hunt, they held off as long as possible to search for an outstanding bull.
The Midlands from what I have seen is sandvelt with a lot of Acacia thorn bush. This area can get very cold during the winter months.
There are a lot of stolen farms in this area so make sure the hunt is legal and or ethical, In particularly for US hunters.
