Bwana Nderobo10 days until Zambia...
The wife and I leave for the Luangwa Valley for Buffalo/PG with Muchinga Adventures on Aug. 28th for our honeymoon. It is getting difficult to maintain my composure. Focusing on anything un-African is impossible. I see Buffalo in crosshairs where ever I look. These are the good ol' days...
Phil,
This will be an awesome hunt. The Luangwa is the best.

Bwana NderoboSure will Mark, and thanks for the support guys! I've been practicing for months and this rifle is an extension of my arm. Second safari for the old girl and she throws 400 gr A-Frames rather well...

bwanamrmGood outfit and great folks... hunted Chanjuzi and Nyaminga back in '06. Man where does the time go!
You will have a fantastic trip as will your new bride, good hunting!

Congratulations Bwana! What concessions will you be hunting? I've hunted the upper, and lower Lupande and the bangwelu in Zambia back in the 90s The valley is my favorite place to hunt buffalo! Used to be a lot of lion in the Upper Lupande, and we saw leopard almost every couple days in daylight while just driving to find buffalo tracks to follow. Great place!
.................Good luck!

Bwana NderoboI am scheduled to hunt thr Cahnjuzi Block, adjacent to the southern border of North Luangwa Nat'l Park. Scheduled, I say, because the hurricane is looking like it will prevent a Sunday departure from JFK. May the burly slut blow out to sea...

Dog ManGood Luck Phil.
Go with the flow and Muchinga will give you memories that will last forever.

Bwana I'm not sure if I could change my fight I would fly out early, and get the hell outa Dodge before that bitch got to NY! A couple of days early would simply mean a couple days in a hotel before the hunt, But I'd check with my booking agent and/or outfitter to give them a heads-up first! I doubt any flights will be leaving JFK Sunday! I hope the old whirly-gig goes out to sea though!
