Open my big mouth and I get another job. Roll Eyes Judge G is handling the tickets for Friday night's dinner. We have often had a drawing for the few odd and end items brought in by AR members. I have been appointed by the Judge cuckoo to handle that part (oh my achin' head). If you want to donate books, etc., to the drawing, bring them early to the dinner. I will have tickets to give the attendees, up to 80, so we can give away whatever shows up. Any takers? nilly

I will not be able to make the dinner, but I have two soft cover books I will donate for the cause, Elephants and Ivory by John Alfred Jordan and Hunter's Choice by Alexander Lake. Both are from the Resnick Library of African Adventure Series.

A gent and his wife from Little Rock have expressed interest but it is too late for me to send for tickets. They will show up Friday.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your generosity. I thought this would happen. Some people are going to be very happy at the Friday night dinner.

Well...my book isn't about African hunting, but a portion of it has to do with Africa.

If that's ok, I'd like to donate 10 copies of my book (All Ratings Authorized, The Extraordinary Flying Career of Capt. Harry Bernard)for the dinner. I will not be able to make it, I'll be at SCI this year but I know the DSC show will be a good time.

If anyone is in Seattle and flying out of SeaTac, I live close to the airport and could meet you somewhere near there. Otherwise I could mail them Priority in the hopes they make it by Friday to someone's hotel room.

Either way, just let me know and I'll either get them in the mail tomorrow, or make a plan to meet someone.

Cheers,

Baxter

(hmm, now how do I ensure I win BE's CB book?) Nope, don't worry. Have my own signed copy and have really enjoyed it.
