+1, but preaching to the choir isn't going to preserve the tradition of hunting in Africa, especially with the influence of Western ideals and currency. Only by bringing in "new blood" (young people) into the sport, can we hope to stop the flood of misinformation and closures. Hunting can't be viewed as something done only by a few old (wealthy) men.

Unfortunately because of rising costs, only the rich will be able to hunt. Rising costs do not bode well for the future.

Although some types of hunts are costing more, I don't believe hunting in Africa generally has ever been more affordable. Those in the "middle class" (at least in the U.S. and many European nations) have hunting opportunities that until just a couple of decades ago would have been impossible to enjoy. These types of opportunities could/should be used to increase exposure to the realities of African wildlife management to a wider segment of our populations. For better or worse, dollars and euros have a major impact on that continent's wildlife management.
