Ummmm where are they going to move them so that they do not pose a danger to humans and livestock? Mars? ___________________ Just Remember, We ALL Told You So.

I hope this helps, but there are a number of obstacles. There are places where there might not be any human/livestock conflict, although they are diminishing, but those places tend to have their own lions. How is that going to work? Second issue. My parents had a stray cat that adopted them and they wanted rid of her. They gave her to someone that actually wanted a cat who lived a couple hundred miles away. Yep, she was missing for six months, but showed back up like a bad penny. Wonder what kind of havoc lions wandering cross country back home would cause.

In Namibia they have translocated problem lion 120+ miles away and with a few weeks they were right back into the area. Cats have a funny way of finding their way back home. Especially if home has lots of food lying around. ___________________ Just Remember, We ALL Told You So.

Well I don't think that will be the problem in this case....more than 500km away as the crow flies.... more likely they will struggle to integrate if there are resident lion there. Hopefully they follow the correct translocation and release protocols... "...Them, they were Giants!" J.A.
