Angola: Benguela - Lions Terrorise Villagers in Balombo

Benguela

Two strayed lions in Balombo village, 182km from Benguela city, are terrorising local residents.

According to the local chieftain, Bastana Ndjundo, the felines devoured, Thursday night, some animals, in Hoji-Ya-Henda ward, and threatened a group of youths.


Bastana Ndjundo added that although no human victims had been reported, the situation is worrying as the animal have been moving near the residences situated in Hoji- ya-Henda, Valódia, Cavissoli wards and of the urban zone.
